The Challenge

When Customization and Operations Don’t Speak the Same Language

RefrigiWear offers customers the ability to personalize their apparel with embellishments like embroidery, logos, and reflective strips. Managing that level of product customization requires a platform purpose-built for the job, and RefrigiWear had already made the decision to move from their existing solution to Artifi, a more capable product configurator.

The challenge wasn’t Artifi itself. It was making sure Artifi could talk to NetSuite. Without a connection between the two platforms, sales teams had no way to view or manage product customization details directly inside NetSuite sales orders. Fulfillment was another gap: there was no easy way to print customization specs from within NetSuite when it was time to produce and ship an order.

The Solution

A Purpose-Built Integration, Done the Right Way

Artifi offers pre-built integrations for several platforms, including RefrigiWear’s e-commerce site, which the client used as-is. For NetSuite, however, SuiteRep chose a different approach. Rather than relying on Artifi’s native NetSuite integration, SuiteRep built a fully custom connection using Artifi’s web API. This gave the team greater control over how the integration functioned and how it would hold up over time.

The result: Artifi’s product customization interface is now accessible directly from within NetSuite sales orders, displayed through a clean embedded experience. Sales staff can view and interact with customization details without leaving NetSuite.

SuiteRep also built a dedicated print button inside NetSuite, allowing teams to generate a clear printout of all Artifi customization specs for any items on a sales order.
