Struggling to visualize data?

NetSuite’s reports are useful, but what if you want to visualize key data for an individual record? Creating a new report for that record type won’t give you the record-specific visualization you’re looking for. And pulling up the raw data in each record is time-consuming.

Bring the report to the record

With SuiteRep’s On-Record Reporting solution, you bring the report right to the record. The reporting possibilities are as varied as your unique business needs. Want to see a chart depicting an item’s sales over the last year? Need to add a simple demand forecast card to your item records? On-Record Reporting allows you to easily access and understand the raw data in any record.

USER STORY

Are you tracking data outside of NetSuite?

This is what one of our clients was doing before they implemented our On-Record Reporting solution. Our client, an electronics manufacturer and distributor, was using a variety of data points to calculate a satisfaction score for each customer over set time periods. They based the calculation off data like on-time vs. late delivery, defective vs. high quality products, and customer feedback. The calculation assigned each customer a satisfaction score for specific time periods.
But the trouble is . . . they didn’t track the customer satisfaction score in NetSuite. If they were on a customer record and wanted to see that customer’s score at a certain point in time, they had to look outside of NetSuite.

Our On-Record Reporting solution changed that.

With On-Record Reporting, our client can now view accessible, attractive graphs right on the relevant records. A dedicated subtab on each customer record houses that customer’s satisfaction chart. And all those data points? They’re now being tracked and calculated right in NetSuite.
This is just one example of how On-Record Reporting can bring business-critical insights to the forefront so you can make informed decisions.

On-Record Reporting FAQs

How does On-Record Reporting work?

On-Record Reporting uses SuiteQL, so you can gather data from multiple data tables in addition to pulling data directly from the record you’re on.

What does On-Record Reporting look like on a record?

On-Record Reporting provides cards that can be placed on either the header level or on a sublist of a record.

Can I export the results of an On-Record Reporting report?

Absolutely! You can export and download results as a CSV file.

Who is able to view On-Record Reporting cards?

Access to each On-Record Reporting card is defined by roles and granted by Administrators. Anyone with a role that has access to an On-Record Reporting card will be able to view the data, even if that individual does not have access to all the underlying records of the report.

Do you offer post-implementation support for On-Record Reporting?

The On-Record Reporting solution package includes free, unlimited post-implementation support if any of the original, core functionality breaks. Just shoot us a message or hop on a call with us to let us know what you need!

Who will I be working with?

You’ll be working directly with one of our US-based SuiteQL developers.
