When you need to run a search that requires the complexity of a Saved Search, but you don’t want the persistence of a Saved Search, how do you proceed? Did you know that you can simply create a new search, and instead of using the Save and Run option, you can just hit the Preview to see the quick results you want. The ability to preview saved searches before they actually run is invaluable.
Or, suppose you have a Saved Search with some criteria that you want to modify a bit, but you don’t want to actually save your changes—you can do that without completely duplicating the search. Just change the criteria you’d like to change and hit preview. Your changes won’t apply to the Saved Search unless you actually click “Save” on the Saved Search definition page.
